Domain and Content for Sale!

Hey Everyone!

Heather here. And, yes, you read that right. The fitinto.ca domain and all of the content on this site (including the theme, logos, code, etc.) are for sale! I know. It’s crazy. After all, why would I want to give this thing up? Well, it’s a bit of a long story, but I’ll give you the abridged version.

I got back to Canada from China on April 20th, 2010, and things were great. I had a couple of jobs in the fitness industry, which were helping me pay the bills, and I was doing some freelance work in various capacities, but always in areas related to business.

Well, as I was happily doing my thing one day, I was approached about a job opportunity. It’s a pretty unique role, and it is taking me out of the country – to Monaco! I’m leaving in a few weeks, and I’m not going to have time to dedicate to this site any longer. I’m sad about it, but things change, and you have to role with the punches.

So, if you or anyone you know is interested in acquiring my site, in any capacity, contact me! My email address is heather [at] heatherpayne [dot ca]. Looking forward to hearing from you!

All the best,

Heather

“Pay What You Can” Personal Training – Can it Work?

I had this idea yesterday, and I’d like your feedback. Can this work?
My idea is to change up the pricing model for Personal Training. Currently, and generally speaking, Personal Trainers charge by the hour. There are some variations of this, of course, but that is basically it. The things that I [...]

Dear Taco Bell

Dear Taco Bell,
I was walking along Bloor Street today when I happened to glance at the window of your outlet at 636 Bloor Street West, on the corner of Bloor and Euclid. There, in the window, I saw an advertisement for your “New! Beefy 5-Layer Burrito.” I took a photo of it with [...]

The Most Wildly Unpopular Weight Loss Advice in the World

Eat less.
Seriously. That’s it. Just eat less.
There are two major problems with this advice, though – two things that make it so wildly unpopular.
First of all, telling people to eat less doesn’t sell products.
No one wants to read an article featuring an actress who “lost seven pounds in seven days” by…eating [...]

Great Stuff from Brad Pilon

If you haven’t heard of Brad Pilon, I strongly recommend you head over to his blog and read a few of his posts.  He is the author of Eat Stop Eat and definitely someone who has significantly influenced the way I look at nutrition and weight loss.  He takes a unique approach, and backs it [...]
